Backed by an EPA-estimated 41/44/42 MPG city/hwy/combined1 maximum fuel economy rating, the 2026 Sportage Hybrid is engineered to keep you away from the gas pump. It accomplishes this without sacrificing spirited performance, with its standard 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and full parallel hybrid system generating 232 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. Make its gas tank last even longer by activating the standard Eco drive mode, which directs the SUV to prioritize efficiency by making adjustments to throttle response and other mechanics. An available AWD system is there for motorists seeking more confident traction. This drivetrain comes with three multi-terrain settings, including Snow, Sand, and Mud, to help the vehicle adapt to various road conditions.
Technology
Driver-centric tech is at the forefront of the 2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid, with a standard 12.3-in. touchscreen2 sitting on the center of the dashboard. It can be paired with the available 12.3-in. digital instrument panel2 to create one sweeping Dual Panoramic Display2, making for a seamless infotainment experience. Wireless Apple CarPlay®3 and Android Auto™4 compatibility is standard, so you’ll have easy access to your must-have apps without needing to touch your phone.
